Second Serve ("we", "us") is a community marketplace for buying and selling used sports racquets. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Your name, email address, and profile photo from Google Sign-In.
• Information you choose to submit when creating a listing: brand, model, photos, condition, price, and contact details.
• Interest you express on other users' listings.

How we use it

We use your Google account to authenticate you and identify your listings. Your contact details are shown to other signed-in users only when you publish a listing or express interest, so they can reach you directly to complete a transaction. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Transactions

Second Serve only facilitates discovery and introductions between buyers and sellers. All communication, payment, and exchange of goods happens directly between users, outside this platform. We are not a party to any transaction and do not process payments.

Data storage

Data is stored securely with our infrastructure provider (Supabase). You may request deletion of your account and listings at any time by contacting us.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how people use Second Serve — which pages get visited, which sports and filters are popular, and whether key actions like publishing a listing or expressing interest succeed. This collects standard web-analytics data (pages viewed, device/browser type, approximate location, and the actions above) via cookies, but not your name, email, or listing contact details. You can control this at the browser level with tools like Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
